Red got a water table from Nana and Papa Paris for his birthday, and so far, he loves it! There have been a few birthday parties where water tables have been present, and he’s a GO for all of them. Although, I think if he has younger company, he tends to stay and play longer, rather than crawling to rip out all my potted plants. It’s a Step 2 Water Wheel Play Table, coming with a few accessories like a water wheel, mini sailboats and a shark-shaped water scoop that rainfalls water from his tail (not pictured, because I’m too lazy to step out onto the patio and shoot it…). We got the water table out on our Mother’s Day, and with an impromptu play session, stripped Red down to his skivvies and let ‘im at it. Even Dooley got in on the fun.
Hubs and I took turns playing in the water with him – he was mostly fascinated with the depth of the water – this was before he’d been in a large pool, and splashed and splashed for a long while. We got some video of his first big play session, so enjoy this clip! 🙂
Thanks, Nana and Papa!
