Headed to a conference? Yay – it’s going to be super fun! It is your first time, or your fiftieth? Either way, you’re here because you want to know what to pack (or your brain has forgotten what the heck you’re supposed to bring)! Don’t forget to take into consideration the weather at your destination – this will alter your packing list quite a bit. And, if there are certain theme parties or activities, you’ll want to pack properly for those, too! My packing list is tailored for my favorite conference, Type-A Parent. Here, you’ll find a list of items you might want with you during the sessions, items for your hotel room, and regular clothes lists. Don’t overpack – you’ll still want to be able to lift your bag! OH my gosh, I haven’t started even thinking about packing. I’m terrible. I guess tomorrow is the day I’ll panic. At least I’m driving…that automatically makes it easier.

Business cards and comfy shoes are a must. The amount of walking that can be done at a conference demands comfort! Great list.
Business cards, portable charger and extra charging cables are on the top of my list. I also travel with a small pillow and lightweight blanket of my own. It helps me settle in better.

I say bring that power strip with you to the conference. You never know who might need to plug in! (Man..I better inventory my business card stash!)

Yay this is EXACTLY what I needed. I leave at 7am Thursday… yeah, I haven’t put the FIRST thing into a suitcase. I can panic tomorrow, right? LOL

great list. I would never bring a fan, that’s just extra space taking away from other fun stuff,. I do bring my own charger station as hotel rooms are notorious for skimping out on outlets.
If you want to make friends fast, bring a surge protector to let everyone share! Great list!

All great ideas! The one thing I learned REALLY fast was to pack an extra suit case because you’ll get A LOT of swag!
