Atlanta’s very own Coca-Cola is welcoming summer with a new film at the World of Coke! The 6 minute short show you “Moments of Happiness” from around the world, and makes you realize that they are right in front of you. Jerk a tear and feel empowered to find your moment when you see the film in full at the museum. Here’s a sneek peek below:
Doesn’t that look awesome? The full film is even better, and is paired with the new bluetooth smart iPhone App that coke coded for visitors is quite amazing! Using their free wifi and enabling the bluetooth on your phone, the World of Coca-Cola Explorer app gives guests an interactive experience through photos, facts, exhibit screens and other nifty gems. Red and I took a selfie in front of the decorated coke bottles up front. (You can continue to take neat framed photos themed for different parts of the museum).
As we explored the interactive museum, the app knew exactly where we were, and complimented each exhibit without being obtrusive or telling us where we should go. It was a knowledgeable, fabulous passive tour guide! Take a look at these screen shots. Be sure to download the app before you go so you’ll be prepared for all the fun!
Being with a 3 year old boy in the exhibit really meant that he took the reigns. We spent a long time checking out this original Coca-Cola delivery car. The car was driven in during construction and the museum was built around it. Isn’t that cool?! Red loved it. We saw the Olympic torch, memorabilia and even the mini working bottling factory. It’s so real that you get to take home one of those bottles when you leave. and buddy, it’s some good Coca-Cola.
Red posed for my camera when the Explorer App suggested a selfie to be turned into a classic coke ad. Is that not the cutest thing? I think their hair colors blend so much it almost looks real!
You can’t visit the World of Coke and not stay to see the 7′ blinking, nodding, interactive Polar Bear. He cuddled into Red for hugs and Red gave his a big kiss! He’s very snuggly, and so cool to see in person! See more of the polar bear and Red’s “thank you” to Coke in this Instagram clip:
And what about this? Don’t you want to see yourself “bubblized”? The bubble camera give you an effervescent version of yourself on screen, so Red and I snapped a shot. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! The World of Coke takes about 2 hours to fully enjoy, so take your entire family (strollers are very welcome and easy to maneuver) and enjoy your day at Pemberton Park.
As you leave the museum, the last thing you’ll encounter is what I call the tasting room (actually called the Taste It! beverage lounge)! Sample flavors from all over the world, and keep tabs on your favorites in the Explorer app. When you see the “Beverly” flavor from Italy, be sure to try it…. it’s the most horrible soda on the planet… tell all your friends it’s your favorite, and then watch their reactions as they take a sip – priceless! (I sincerely miss the soda jerk that re-enacted a visit to the drugstore from the “Old’ World of Coke. The counter still exists in Milestones of Refreshment but it’s just not the same without the personality, the original coke demonstration or the adamant, sincere recommendation to try the Beverly when you reached the tasting room… Coke: bring this back, please!)
Have you visited the World of Coke lately? Coke is being so very generous and asking me to host a giveaway for 4 tickets to the World of Coke. Tickets expire 12/31/14. Enter using the rafflecopter widget below… good luck!
Oh how I wish I lived in Atlanta so I could enter this contest. I have seen pictures of a few bloggers that got to visit and it looks so cool! I love me some Coco Cola and Vanilla Ice Cream.. nom nom
My husband was stationed down there for training a few years back and LOVED the world of coke tour he went on!
I wish i could visit here and take the kiddies as it sounds like a great place.
I love the world of coke- my favorite was the tasting stations!
Looks like fun! We haven’t been to the one out here yet. I thought our kids had to be bigger for some reason. Looks like Red had a ball though so I’m sure my babies would too!
That polar bear is my absolute favorite! I wish I would have let the girls hang with him solo for a minute or two.
Ah! I love the polar bear! This app is really cool. Wish they’d had it a few years ago when we visited. (We’ll have to visit again!)
I tried talking my husband into us going to the Six Flags in Atlanta for the summer since we live closeish to it. He wants to wait until we’ve lost a bit more weight and can enjoy it more. So I’m loving the look at Six Flags as I’m planning our trip for hopefully next summer 🙂
I haven’t been since I was a kid so I’d love to check out all of the changes! I know Little Man would love to check out the polar bear and car!
The Coke ad is cool. 🙂 I think the app was very smart to suggest it. 😉 The pics all look fun!

I have never been to the World of Coke, but it sure does seem awesome!! My kids would love it!
My step mom would have loved going there. She was such a huge fan of any Coca Cola. Maybe I will get there someday myself. It does look neat!

I love the world of coke. What a fun app to get interactive.
We love going to The World of Coke. The kids always love going crazy in the tasting room.
I love Six Flags, but haven’t been as a family yet. We still have a ways to go before full parks are fun for the boys, but water parts are always fun!
It seems as if your family had a wonderful time. It is important to take time to create good family memories.
Wonderful pictures! It looks like your son really had fun there!
