Long Memorial Day Weekend!

We took a HUGE memorial day weekend away from computers and really had some fun! We hit up lots of shopping, a bouncy house party with the parents of the Atlanta Lyric Theatre, and finally some planting, power washing and water play.  We topped off the start of summer by having a big dinner with Hubs’ parents and all the cousins, which made for some really quality time together (and Hubs didn’t touch his phone ONCE!)  I hope you had a wonderful time remembering our fallen soliders and service providers.  Let the summer begin!

My boys are OBSESSED with bouncy houses. We get one every year for their joint birthday party and they are already counting down to it.

Sounds like a great weekend! We didn’t spend a bunch of time on the computer, either! Lots of garage cleaning!

I love bouncy houses, too bad I am too large for them. I love that they are affordable to rent for parties, or even own if you have a backyard.
    thanks,

That’s what it’s all about. Enjoying time with family on a long weekend and leaving the work behind. My kids had a make up day so they had school. I ended up working πŸ™

It’s good to unplug once in a while. I love when I go camping for long weekends with no Internet or phone service.

It’s great to unplug from this technologically driven world once
in a while and start to enjoy the small stuff. There are just so many things in
this life that can give us so much fun without the usual use of computers and
smartphones. Thus, I would really recommend all parents to spend time with
their family in a traditional way as much as possible. πŸ™‚

There’s nothing like an extended warm week end to welcome the summer and shoo out the winter. You and your family made good use of it.
