Saturday was Dooley’s birthday! He turned 4 years old, or 28, whichever way you want to look at it! Every year on his birthday, it’s finally warm enough to go out for ice cream. If you’ve seen my Bruster’s posts, you know that we get the coupons and take our little Doo out for treats a few times a year. His birthday is no exception! So Hubs and I took a break from tiling the master bathroom and took the boys out for a treat.

Dooley already got started on his ice cream! |
Doo likes ice cream so much that he barks and barks for his turn before we can even order at the window! Brusters offers a doggie ice cream with Milkbone garnish for doggies when you purchase a people ice cream.

Happy Birthday, Big Guy! |
And “kids” under 40 inches get a free baby cone. It’s a really small ice cream on a cone in vanilla or whichever flavor you want. Dad insisted that Red get some ice cream, so we got him a baby scoop. He was tentative…
But he ended up liking how cold it was! He took a few bites, and the rest was donated to Dooley’s tummy.
Mmmmmmmmmm.
Dooley went home and finished his celebration off with a bone and a nap. Mama and Hubs kept tiling, and Red gladly took a nap. We love you, Doo!
And I’m linking to to Mommy and Me Monday over at Really, Are You Serious?‘ blog.

I didn’t know they have baby cones…so cute!
Happy birthday to your pup!
Thank you so much! Yes, we go to Bruster’s a lot! The baby cones are free to kids under 40″ tall 🙂 Tiny little cones -maybe your girls would like them.
