Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Movie Review

The Mistress of all Evil is back in her new movie! The sequel to the 2014 box office smash starring Angelina Jolie shares Maleficent’s transition from budding Godmother-parent to that of a mother letting go of her human child. (Don’t forget, Maleficent is a fairy (Dark Fey)!) The new, official trailer is below and shares more of what you can expect when the film hits theaters nationwide October 18, 2019.  I’ve got some amazing Maleficent Disneybound Accessories pulled for you below, from horns to scepters, but be sure to look at my Sleeping Beauty runDisney costume that wowed some runners! Make it Pink, Make it Blue!  Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is a great addition to the origin stories that have been sweeping theatres lately. If you haven’t seen the first movie, please, please try to see it before you hit the theatres. There is so much backstory and emotion that carries over from the first film that Disney didn’t rehash (which I loved, it gave more room for exploration). And yes, it’s totally kid-friendly.

Maleficent 2 Official Trailer:

In Disney’s “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,” a sequel to the 2014 global box office hit, Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies, and dark new forces at play.

Grab these 3D printed Maleficent horns and style your hair around the lightweight headband for an effortless dark fairy look. It’s easy to tease some volume into the front and look darkly taller. The headband is very gentle and I wore mine all day with zero headaches!

You can also pair the horns with a leather jacket and a dark shirt to bring out the badass feel that Angelina Jolie exudes as Maleficent. I wore this look to the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Screening and felt like it was a good choice!

These silver dragon retro sweater clips are a vintage touch for a Maleficent Dapper Day Disneybound. Can you picture your black cardigan draped over your back like effortless wings?

If you want to dazzle the crowd, Maleficent’s walking stick or staff is a must-have. This scepter is the height of a cane, which can be held up or used to create some Dapper photo sessions.

A more subtle pin like this Maleficent hood glitter brooch is a nice way to nod to your Disneybound character without overtly labeling yourself. I find that using the character’s colors (Black, Green, Purple) and then adding a pin like this allows spectators to know exactly who you are channeling!

Maleficent in Vacay Mode on a Tee is a casual way to show your love for the dark fairy in a cheeky way. This cute outfit has a long shelf life on vacation!

Maleficent is played by Angelina Jolie who makes this character both fun and bad at the same time.

My little girl loves Maleficent, and I know she is not really evil she was just done wrong and may have went a little bit overboard with her payback.
