Celebrating Tokyo’s big games next season, iconic gamers team up for 3D and 2Bit events in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 on Nintendo Switch. Red helped me review this hot new collaboration game with incredible modes like 3D, side-scrolling 2 Bit events and another story mode for endless play. Enter at the bottom to win one of three digital download codes so you can play with your family to get ready for the big summer games in 2020! Red has done some awesome reviews for me like Niko and the Sword of Light and an Arty unboxing. He’s agreed to help me review the game:
Red’s Video Game Review
The Olympics were hosted in Tokyo back in 1964, which is what gives the retro Mario version this nickname. The 2020 events are in modern 3D graphics with the current gaming feel of today. Pair them both together in Red’s favorite story mode as you save the characters through participating in events. Or, if you are short on time, try your hand at individual events in single mode, pair play or online with friends. The options are endless, giving this game a LONG play life.

Want to know more about this game? Sega, along with the official Tokyo 2020 games, have laid out a great party sheet detailing what you can expect. This game has more events than you can play in one day, from 3D modern competitions to those old school 2 Bit graphics and side-scrolling goodness I grew up with. You can play against a teammate, online, in single-player events or even story mode to help Mario and Sonic escape a game console! Red played for days to review the game with me and really enjoyed it!
