I can’t believe my kids are getting so old. It seems like a millisecond ago that I was bathing Red’s fire engine hair while calling out to my husband in the kitchen to “check that URL!” Being absentminded that URLs and social media handles would matter one day… I snagged it for $10. That’s pretty much how this website got started. But now I find Red finishing up fourth grade (in advanced content, no less! **proud mom moment**), and Scarlett wrapping up her first year of grade school.
In “normal times” we would have had a super silly, poignant Pre-K ceremony leading into Kindergarten registration, but 2020 robbed us (and many other families) of those goofy milestone moments. With face-to-face school in session here in Atlanta, it’s a little more routine to attend school (but no school-sanctioned clubs, sports, or events) but I’m not sure we’ll get or attend Kindergarten graduation. Heck, I even did our “school photos” here at home!
But that doesn’t mean this particular milestone will pass us by uncelebrated. Or will that of other families with high school, college, or other types of graduations. Sometimes you need to feel a little fancy with proper announcements in the snail mail. (Plus, there’s a Basic Invite promo code below!)
Basic Invite Makes It Easy
And I need it easy. My stress level (and I imagine yours) has been sky high, and I need a break! I’m tapped out when it comes to brainstorming things like posters, projects, or when faced with these springtime milestones, graduation announcement ideas. Thank goodness services like Basic Invite have swaths of templates to choose from. All I have to do is plug in our adorable photos!
Almost Unlimited Colors- Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once they select a design, customers can change the color of each element on the card. With over 180 colors to choose from, the invite is sure to be exactly how they want it. This is what sets us apart from almost any other online stationery company.
Custom Samples- Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers to order a printed sample of their actual invitation before they place their final order. They can see the paper quality and how it will print, and make sure the card is perfect.
Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes- Basic Invite has over 40 different envelope colors to choose from. With so many options, customers can make their envelope match the invitation. All of the envelopes are peel and seal so they can be closed quickly and securely.
Address Capturing Service- Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request their friends and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in the customer’s account and can be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders.
Don’t know how to format an invitation, announcement, or thank you card? They’ve got your back. The graduation announcements template makes it easy to let friends and family know of your kiddo’s achievement in style and with ease. Just choose your colors and send off your address capturing link. It’s that easy (and save all those addresses for when you’re ready for holiday cards!)
Not graduating? No problem. Red isn’t getting ready to move anywhere anytime soon, but he DOES have a big birthday coming up. The two-hander: TEN! (Excuse me while I die a small death at him already being this old). These basic invite party invitations are ADORABLE and easy to fill out for an outdoor (and socially distanced) LEGO build or bike ride.
