The Walt Disney Studios announced today that Disney and Pixar’s ONWARD will be available to buy digitally and on Movies Anywhere beginning today at 8:00 pm EST and on streaming to your TV on Disney+ by April 3rd. The film had originally premiered in theatres on March 6, 2020, and had great reviews, but, as any Disney hero faces challenges, the global pandemic impacted movie theatres as they closed all over the nation. With the new guidelines in each state, Disney has risen above the rest and is offering the film ahead of schedule to purchase on digital platforms in the U.S. beginning today at 5:00pm PST /8:00pm EST for $19.99. Try to find these fun Easter eggs hidden in the film when you watch it!
“While we’re looking forward to audiences enjoying our films on the big screen again soon, given the current circumstances, we are pleased to release this fun, adventurous film to digital platforms early for audiences to enjoy from the comfort of their homes,” said Dan Scanlon (Director, “Onward”) and Kori Rae (Producer, “Onward”).

The Pet Dragon would be awesome, but so would the eldest brother because he gives off a 1980’s rocker vibe.
