My friend Alex, whom I love dearly, recently became a new mama! Her little guy is growing strong, and since school let out, shows are struck (taken down), and summer is in full swing, we finally had time to meet up and have lunch together!
This little guy (I will call him Meatball because is so sweet, and yummy and round. Seriously, put some sauce on him and I’ll chomp those toes all day!) is 3 months old now, and so mild mannered and happy!
Alex is a best friend of mine, and I only wish I had met her sooner in my life. Thank goodness we still have like, 80 years to go… (right?!) They moved to another state last year, and so visits aren’t as often as I would like! She is totally my “mommy & me” showcase this week, because I love this gal!
Red was very interested in the “baby”. He pointed to, looked at, and then pretty much ignored the little guy during lunch, being more taken in showing Ryan and Alex his cars and scarfing some food. When it came time to say farewell, Red tossed him a “A-BYE!” and a wave and was very happy to have his Mama back, all to himself.
I can’t wait until we see these folks again – I have my fingers crossed that it’s sooner, rather than later. π

So cute!! And love the nickname Meatball, hahah.
My kiddo always got super jealous of me holding babies, I was relieved to see that she didn’t when it’s her own little sister. π

Thank you – I’m trying to get them to move back! π Let’s see how that goes.

heehee. Thank you. She calls Red “sausage”, so we’re keeping it in the meat family.
