I love Orange Bird! I love him so much that I’ve often shared his history with fellow guests and Cast Members in the Parks. I’ve even written about Orange Bird on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I collect his pins. I own an Orange bird dress. When I finally nailed down a date to attend Spring Dapper Days at Walt Disney World Resort, I knew exactly who I was going as.. a Dapper Day Orange Bird Disneybound!
You may remember that I had NO IDEA Chase was coming along on this trip. He surprised me with a Carl Fredrickson Dapper Disneybound as well as this sweet male Orange Bird Disneybound. I was so proud he planned it all himself when he normally is always asking for color and texture combos from me!

Orangebird Disney Nails
With Chase was secretly plotting away this weekend, I was also planned myself into a frenzy, from my Marketplace Co-op Orange Bird dress, purchased in April of ’17 as well as my vintage inspired hair, makeup and my newest acquisition, an SNS manicure. My Orangebird Disneybound Disney nails were extremely easy to do! I had my technician add two variegated green leaves to my ring fingers, laid on top of the perfect orange color for my swirled Adventureland buddy. I toted along a roomy clutch from Beaches I brought home a few years ago and it matched nicely! I also wore green emerald Tieks for comfort in the parks. I saw too many girls with shredded feet wearing heels and limping through the park to wear anything but flats!
When we first walked into Magic Kingdom I squealed! In all my trips to Magic Kingdom, I had NEVER seen the Omnibus on the streets. I had seen the firetruck, ridden the horse trolley and even waved at the cars, but the Omnibus had only been backstage for me. NOT TODAY! I pulled Chase over to the stop and jumped aboard! We had to slow down as the Trolley Show performed in front of us on the streets… and we had a front-row view from above. Magical!
Later that day it was all vintage style attractions, good food and mugging for the camera. You can catch some of my favorite shots over on my Instagram Account, where you’ll find all things Disney!
Dapper Dans Disneybound
I can’t leave this post without sharing another one of my Dapper Day outfits. I wore this Dapper Dans t-shirt and Skirt combo to Disney Springs for dinner with a good friend and I felt so glam! I topped off my locks with this clip-able Minnie fascinator from Unique Vintage and dappered around the area.
Now, I admittedly did a terrible job taking extra photos this night. In fact, I forgot to take a photo with my friend AND of my outfit solo. Since I had just screening AVENGERS: Infinity War that week, I took this photo to capture my feelings about the end of the movie (NO SPOILER!). You can get a rockabilly feel for my skirt, black Keds slip-ons and Dapper Dans Shirt. It was an incredibly comfortable outfit and one I plan on wearing to the Parks again!
When it’s time for your next Dapper Day Disneybound, what will you choose? I’m already working on my next Disneyland Dapper Day look… Tell me what you’re looking forward to wearing!
