Wow, you guys. I won’t spoil anything for you, but being the film is over three hours long, there is a LOT OF ACTION to pack in. Things happened that I expected, new and different things happened, and I laughed more than I had in a theatre in a long while. Marvel fans WILL LOVE IT. If you haven’t seen Captain Marvel before this movie, hold off and get to see Carol Danvers and Goose tomorrow. Then promptly buy a ticket for Endgame. Therewere NO END CREDIT scenes during our screening, which shocked me. Feel free to head to the car when the credits start rolling! Red deemed Avengers: Endgame a movie that will not be “erased” from your memory! Now HURRY and go see the movie so I can chat with you about it!
Avengers: Endgame opens nationwide on Friday, April 26 with a runtime of approx. 182 minutes and a rating of PG-13.
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.” You can see how high the stakes are for the new film in this featurette promoting the opening… What will you do if it doesn’t work out?!
Avengers Endgame for Kids
It’s a mixed bag. If your kids have seen Guardians, Infinity War, and a slew of other Marvel movies which are rated PG-13, Endgame will land the same. There are not terrifying monsters in these like in Solo, but you will see monsters from the franchise in a few scenes. No jump scares. There is a bit of language, as you may have seen from the trailers, but once again, if your kids are regular Marvel moviegoers, you won’t mind. There is (of course) some lady power due to the wide array of female Avengers, so young ladies will certainly tout that as a pro for the film. But if you do take your kids to see Endgame, be sure to re-screen Infinity War and talk about what loss means and how to deal with it. Our heroes start out the movie mourning their losses…
Stan Lee’s Final Cameo
It’s totally there… when you least expect it, just like his cameos should be. But you will know it was him, and the theatre will howl and clap and scream in love. <3
Marvel Disneybounds
You know I love a good Disneybound! Two of my favorite Marvel getups have been my Black Panther Disneybound and my Captain Marvel Disneybound. Both were easy/free to create and had a great impact when I went to see the film. Dress up in a Disneybound of your favorite character to celebrate Avengers: Endgame!
Ant Man & The Wasp Snack Mix
Pack up this honeycomb Ant Man and the Wasp snack mix to hand out to the kids during the 3 hour + run time of Avengers: Endgame. It’s got sweet and salty and lots of character!
Infinity Stone Sippable Cocktail
To add my “layer” to our Marvel family, I created this Avengers Infinity Stones Drink to celebrate the Infinity War and Endgame series with a handy tool I discovered! See the six colors in the two tall shot glasses? You’ll see each of the infinity stones represented by a different liquor that you sip (one layer at a time). Watch the VIDEO below to learn how to create this Avengers Infinity Stones Drink!
Avengers Endgame Party
Perhaps you want to celebrate the movie with a party? I know our kids are very much into Superheroes, and supporting these birthday wishes by “assembling” an Avengers Party is easy! Click here to read about our amazing Avengers Party!
