“Boom boom. akka lakka lakka boom!… Open the door, get on the floor… Everybody walk the Dinosaur!” (you know you’re singing it now!)  Our family is really getting into dinosaurs! From a love of the original Jurassic Park movie to reading our childhood pop-up books to Red, the Age of the Dinosaurs is getting more and more popular in our house. Even our cartoon movie nights are filled with T-Rexes:

If you’re like us, and can’t quite get enough dinosaurs, you’ll be happy to know that #ExtremeDinos are here in Atlanta! Starting tomorrow (3/29/14), Atlantic Station hosts some of the world’s strangest dinosaurs in an experience that showcases the stories behind their unique appearance. Dinosaur Atlanta guests are immersed in a naturalistic landscape filled with 17 lifelike and life-size animatronic dinosaurs that roar, snarl, open their jaws, blink their eyes, move their limbs and much more.

Featuring some of the newest dinosaur finds from the current “Golden Age” of paleontology, the exhibition includes life-size animatronic models, skeletons, real fossils and fossil replicas including a favorite of younger guests, dinosaur dung.  How cool is that?

Red can hardly wait to see the “Mino-soars” live and in person! If you’re ready to explore the earth with these ancient giants, enter the rafflecopter below to win a Family Four Pack of ticket to the exhibit. The tickets have no expiration date, but the exhibit has a limited of time run! More tickets and information can be found on the Dinosaur Atlanta website.

With two boys, dinosaurs have been a part of our lives for a long time! We love the giant T-Rex and the impressive TUOJIANGOSAURUS! We’ll be in Atlanta in July and would love to visit!

I like pterodactyls. Is that how you spell that? There’s nothing weirder than a flying lizard!

Having boys makes my world full of dinosaurs! We have many favorites but if we had to narrow it down we would choose the T-Rex. It’s big and mean!

The Corythosaurus is the most interesting to me. I find them interesting because they used their crest on their head to make a loud horn noise.
